Key accomplishments and events in 2025

AZ Programs: Source: Tax credit + regular donations (sadaqa)+Employer Match

1. Monthly distribution of dry food to a total of 400+ refugee and needy families in Arizona
2. Provided zakat & fitra in cash  to 35 low income/refugee families in need of financial or medical assistance
3. Sponsored BAAZ Science Fair event to encourage young generation in science and engineering

Bangladesh Programs: Source: Regular donations (zakat + sadaqa)

1. Funded Rangpur Eye Clinic, NSS  for eye screening and cataract surgeries. Eye screened and cataract surgery performed on patients in Rangpur and Sylhet.
   1. In 2025 patients were screened and ~160 had cataract surgeries performed. Another 30-40 expected to be completed by December.
   1. Funding of DADUS and NSS Eye Camp Operation is in process. Implementation will be in early 2026.
2. Funded DADUS for self-reliance program which is to provide container and fishlings to culture fish and sell those when they are matured. 20 families were elected as pilot program.
3. Annual funding provided to Etimkhana (with ~16 females) in Chattogram
4. Annual funding provided to Kisholoy Pre-School for special need children in Dhamrai, Dhaka
5. About 250 winter clothing/blanket distributed in Sylhet area in January 2025 and another 300 in December2025/January2026.
6. About 350 blankets distributed in Chattogram area in December 2025.
